Afropop superstar, Wizkid has hinted that his next album after ‘Made in Lagos’ is underway and he is not in a rush.
According to Wizkid, in his upcoming album, he will just be enjoying himself with the music and keep evolving with the sound.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, he said, “I am working on a new album, but I never like to be, like in a rush. Sometimes it takes me a year, two years, to make an album. I always record in terms of albums, not just songs. I like to make music that way, because it gives you a sense of direction.”

Pressed on what that direction might be, he simply states, “Well, in the next album, I’m just trying to enjoy myself with the music now, because of the reception from the fans for my last album. I just keep evolving with the sound.”

Wizkid recently featured Canadian music star, Justin Bieber on his ‘Essence’ remix with Tems. The song is dubbed as a song of the summer by music lovers.
