Former Ghana international Anthony Baffoe says winning the Africa Cup of Nation is not an easy task. Black Stars Coach CK Akunnor has come under a barrage of criticisms following the team’s loss to South Africa in the World Cup Qualifiers.  The recent performance of the Black Stars has prompted some football connoisseurs to doubt the coach’s ability to lead Ghana to Cameroon and fulfill the President’s target of winning the Afcon come next year. Speaking to Starr FM Sports, Tony Baffoe insisted ending the country’s 40 year afcon trophy drought is will not happen by mouth.

“Most of us played with CK Akunnor and it’s always good when we have a former player who is in charge of the national team. It’s not an easy task because everybody plays football today and I think if the Black Stars prepare well and their focused they will make it. Winning the AFCON is not only by mouth because now everybody play football and so its preparation, organization and a bit of luck to get there”” he concluded.
