Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has tipped youngster Fatawu Ishahaku as Ghana’s new Abedi Pele.

The 17 year old has received praise aplenty for his performances in the Ghana premier league, scoring two goals in two appearances for Dreams FC.
With the current CAF U20 best player being called to the Black Stars squad for the double header qualifiers with Ethiopia and South Africa, the former Udinese midfielder believes, with the necessary guidance Isshaku can become a great player for the country.

“He is a wonderful chap, Very confident. I watched his game against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium and he is an excellent player who has all the qualities. We just need to guide him well and if we do that I think we are getting the new Abedi Pele in Ghana” he said on Sports Today on Starr FM.

Meanwhile the Black Stars have landed in South Africa with preparations ongoing ahead of their game against Ethiopia on Thursday.
