The Porcupine Warriors extended their unbeaten run with another dominant performance at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with a comfortable 2-0 win over XI Wonders football club.

Samuel Boateng and Isaac Oppong’s goals were enough to cause more harm to XI Wonders who are yet to win a game in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

Kotoko took control of the game from the 20th minute where they settled and swung passes together with Fabio Gama and Richard Boadu trying to find attackers with their passes behind the defense.

On the half hour mark, Kotoko turned defense into attack when Mudasiru stole a ball and quickly laid it on to Samuel Boateng in an advantageous position.

He calmed it with his left foot and struck home the opener from outside the box

The Porcupines played more dangerously in the second half with Razak Abalora and Andrews Appau nullifying the threats of Wonders.

With 13 minutes left, Fabio Gama with a diagonal long pass found Isaac Oppong on the left flank. The youngster with his pace and quick feet ran rings around his marker into the box and from a tight angle fired the ball into the top right corner to double the lead.

The victory is Kotoko’s fourth out of four and puts them on top of the table with 12 points.
