International reggae superstar, Anthony Moses Davis, popularly known as Beenie Man has dismissed claims that he tested positive for Covid-19 upon his arrival in Ghana ahead of the BhimConcert.
Information from Police sources on Monday indicated that Beenie Man was detained by Airport Police when he attempted to board a flight back to Jamaica.
According to the source, Beenie Man tested positive and was asked to isolate but he flouted those directives and performed at the BhimConcert with several other artists.
But reacting to the claims, the Jamaican superstar said he has never tested positive for covid before.
He noted in a tweet on his official Twitter page that he has been fully vaccinated and has been travelling for the past six months covid-free.
He went further to express his gratitude to the Ghanaian government, immigration and health team for their support and described Ghana as the best place in the world.
