Ghanaian gospel artiste Joyce Blessing has applauded single mothers for their undying responsibilities to their children.
The musician in a social media video encouraged viewers and her fans to be strong and also used the story of the bible character, Jephthah, in a subtle response to allegations that she cheated on her estranged husband.
She gave a standing ovation for unmarried women hustling to take care of their children, saying, “I pray for single mothers who are hustling to pay school fees. Most of the successful people in the world were raised by single mothers. God should bless all mothers for waking up early to hustle to take care of their children. “
Her video comes on the back of allegations that a DNA test has revealed that two of her three children are not from her estranged husband, Dave Joy.
According to sources, the DNA test revealed that her first and second children are not from her estranged husband Dave Joy.
But whilst Blessing failed to directly comment on the issue taking people’s attention, she has released a video to celebrate single mothers.
