Ghana’s Parliament will decide whether the Black Stars should honor the world Cup play off game with the super Eagles of Nigeria or not as Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has directed the committee on Youth and Sports to present its report on investigations into the shambolic performance of the Black Stars at the AFCON in Cameroon.

The Black Stars only managed a point as they exited at the group stage of the ongoing tournament.

Addressing Parliament, Speaker Alban Bagbin said he wants the committee to be  given up to end of February to present its report  to enable parliament decide whether to allow the Black Stars  play Nigeria in the World Cup play-off or not.

“It’s important that we take a very serious view of it and that’s why the investigation, so at the end of the day this house will have the opportunity to discuss, debate it and then we take a decision.”

“I think that we should consider the matter before any further engagement of the black stars with any team towards whether qualifying for the World Cup or whatever, so that we can deal with it and try to right the wrongs before if necessary we engage Nigeria for the qualifying match and if we deem it not necessary we will say so”

However Ghana could be suspended by FIFA is the Black Stars fail to honor the World Cup play-off against Nigeria.
