After a report by GHOne news Godwin Asediba on the plight of the 5 year old boy, his story is about to be changed.

Joshua will now be able to undergo surgery kind curtesy donations from the general public through EIB’s Save Soul Foundation after airing his story on GHone TV. An amount of Eighty Three Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy Seven Ghana cedis Forty Three Pesewas…(Ghc 83,377.43).

GHC 23,377.43 has been donated for his surgery with an additional GHC60,000 to sponsor his Education and after care.

5-year-old Joshua Kakraba is diagnosed with Torticollis, a mystery muscle-wasting disease, which has left his neck almost fallen off since he was 3-years-old.

Joshua was born a healthy baby with his mother but within three years of his birth he developed the condition, leading to the disappearance of his father till date.

His mother consulted doctors in the hope of getting him treated but due to financial constraints, they could not proceed with treatment.

 

After the report on the plight of the 5-year-old was aired on GHOne TV a month ago, many viewers were touched by his plight.

Viewers of GHOne TV showed him love by donating to pay for the surgery.

An amount of GH¢ 23,377.43 has been realized following Joshua’s story with an additional amount of Ghc60.000 to sponsor his education when he gets back on his feet after surgery.

Joshua’s caretaker Veronica Adokpah was elated for the donation.

Young Joshua now beams with smiles all over his face knowing his condition will soon be corrected.

Plans are far advanced by EIB’s save a soul foundation to cater for Joshua’s health and education.

Head of CSR for EIB Network Adriana Akosua Adjei was grateful to everyone who supported in diverse ways and asured them that their support will always be put to the purpose for which they donated.
