Kanye West was gearing up to release the second capsule from the Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga collection on Wednesday (May 25), but out of respect for the victims of the Uvalde school shooting in Texas that left 19 children dead on Tuesday (May 24), he’s decided to delay the drop until later this week.

“In light of the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, we are postponing the Yeezy Gap Engineered By Balenciaga launch until Friday, May 27,” Yeezy Gap said in a statement. “As we pause, our hearts go out to the families and communities impacted.”

The collection is designed by Kanye in collaboration with Balenciaga’s Demna Gvasalia and features garments we’ve seen West himself donning over the past months. Fans can expect denim jackets, jeans, t-shirts, high-top boots, gloves, masks and hoodies.

According to HighSnobiety, t-shirts will run customers $140 while hoodies are going for $240 and the padded denim jacket retails at $440. The collection will now be available on Yeezy Gap’s website on May 27 after initially being teased in Kanye’s “Life of the Party” video.

America is no stranger to these types of tragedies as the Robb Elementary school shooting is the 212th mass shooting of the year already. 19 fourth-grade students were killed along with two teachers and the 18-year-old gunman.
