Black Stars Head coach, Otto Addo has named his 33-man squad ahead of Ghana’s AFCON 2023 Qualifiers and the four nation tournament in Japan. The squad consists of four Goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders, eight wingers and seven strikers.
While Kamaldeen Sulemana and Wakaso Mubarak returns to thevteam after nursing injuries, Thomas Partey who captained the side to victory over Nigeria in the World Cup qualifiers playoffs will be missing in action due to an injury. Alexander Djiku will also be an absentee in the early moments but could eventually join the team in Japan for the 4-nation tournament which schedule from June 10-14.
Hearts of Oak’s Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Bechem United’s Augustine Okrah are the only Ghanaian based players to have made the cut.
