After its successful launch in Nigeria, Glover app, one of the fastest-growing gift card companies in West Africa, has been launched in Ghana to improve the gift card shopping experience and the gifting culture on the continent and the world at large.
The Glover brand’s relaunch in Ghana was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Thursday, June 16, to introduce Glover as the digital assets marketplace that provides the ease, speed, and convenience digitally-savvy Ghanaians need for seamless financial transactions in the digital space.
According to organizers, the mission of Glover is to create a new asset class of Africans who are empowered with the financial freedom they need to create the choices they seek to forge a better future and a more concrete financial path through Glover’s range of product and service offerings.
The CEO, Damilola Layode, said there is the airtime to cash feature on the app, which enables users to be able to convert mobile airtime to cash or even bitcoin, aside from other beneficial features on the app, which include; Giftcards, Airtime2Cash, and Refill services (Bill payments).
Speaking to the CEO, “the mission is to make Africa the one digital marketplace to oversee the non-crypto services of businesses.” Glover is a simple, safe, and secure platform that provides alternative solutions to payments through the use of Bitcoin, Perfect Money, and GiftCard.
In an interview with the CEO, he said the app is secured and that it has the ISO 27001 certification, one of the information security standards that has been published by an international organisation for standardization.
