Award-winning Ghanaian teen rapper, Calista Meusique Ama Adoma Amoateng, has been selected as the only Ghanaian to represent at the 2022 Mr. and Miss Teen Tourism event to be held in the Philippines.

The talented rapper, who has a great love for the arts, is seeking to make the nation proud as she hopes to be the winner of the event, which will be competed for by several beauty pageants from across the globe.

The Mr. and Miss Tourism event is one of the most influential beauty pageants that grooms young ladies to be abreast with their country’s culture and traditions.

The 3rd edition of the event will be held in Manilla, Philippines from July 28 to August 6, 2022.

The 16-year-old first-year student of the Achimota School was selected to represent Ghana after she emerged as the winner of the Miss Tourism Ghana 2022 pageant.

She began rapping at the age of six, the first child of television presenter Stacy Amoateng and broadcaster and content creator Daniel Quophi Amoateng (Okyeame Quophi), and has since matured her art to become an award-winning rap sensation.

She is also an actress and a model and has featured in television several TV commercials.

Young Calista, who is seeking to make it big on the world stage, has a talent for drawing, make-up artistry, and hair styling. She is perusing Visual Arts, majoring in Graphic Design, Jewelry, and General Knowledge in Arts.

She is fluent in English, Korean, and Twi.

Calista has won several awards, including Emerging Artiste of the Year at the Africa Business and Arts Awards 2021; Emerging Artiste of the Year – Emerging Music Awards 2020; and New Artiste of the Year – Ghana Social Media, Business and Creative Arts Awards 2020.
