The executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress have turned in the party’s Suame Youth Organizer Razak Avoliya to the police command.
The police had earlier released statement for the arrest of the youth organizer who was captured in a viral video inciting youth of the party to employ violence in their quest to ensure the party’s victory in the 2024 elections.
Scores of NDC party faithfuls massed up at the Regional headquarters to solidarize with the embattled youth organizer today.
Ashanti regional 1st Vice Chair of the NDC, Captain Kwame Jabari in an interview with Ultimate News’ Ivan Heathcote – Fumador said he might be arraigned later today.
“Yesterday we went to see the regional police Commander to have a discussion about the viral video. So after our discussion, he said we should bring him today. So today we sent him to the Regional police headquarters and the Crime Officer directed that the said Youth organizer is under the Suame division so he prefers to bring him to the Sofoline divisional headquarters so we had to now redirect to Sofoline. So he’s with the Crime Officer, he’s writing his statement, and if there is time we might go to court today,” he said.
