The Member of Parliament for Builsa South, Dr. Clement Apaak has lashed out at the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for appropriating a FIFA funded project to itself.

This comes on the back of the NPP informing Ghanaians that an Astroturf situated at Bolagatanga which is near completion is a government funded project.

“An AstroTurf at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region, Ghana. The project will soon be completed and handed over to the Ghana Football Association,” the NPP Projects Burean indicated in a Facebook post.

Commenting on the post, the Builsa South lawmaker described the move by the NPP as a “shame!”

“The thieving galamsey party has been caught pants down in yet another brazing attempt to appropriate to itself what it has not funded. Everyone in the Upper East Region knows this is a FIFA project, shame!” Dr. Apaak stated.
