Two of Afrobeats’ heavyweights Wizkid and Davido, recently engaged in a public feud on X (formerly Twitter), each claiming superiority over the other within the music space.

It all began when Wizkid threw heavy shade at his colleague Davido while responding to a fan, referencing a leaked video showing Davido seemingly begging a model to have his way with her.

This subtle jab escalated tensions between the two artists, leading to a public exchange of insults and barbs on social media.

Their back-and-forth exchange saw Wizkid asserting his dominance in music, while Davido retaliated with pointed responses, including mocking Wizkid’s career and shoe size.

Despite their past collaborations, their disagreement reached a peak, with Wizkid ultimately deciding to end the exchange, stating he was tired and ready for sleep.
