The Ghana Police Service has urged the Democracy Hub demonstrators to desist from frustrating commuters and other road users.

In a brief statement, the Police described the impediments in the way of commuters as “uncivil, unpatriotic.

“The Ghana Police Service has monitored attempts by the Democracy Hub demonstrators to frustrate and put impediments in the way of commuters and other road users.

“We are urging the demonstrators to desist from such uncivil, unpatriotic, and un-Ghanaian acts depicted in the images and videos and allow the general public to go about their businesses without any hindrance”, the Police advised in a statement.

It continued: “We would like to assure the public that more Police officers have been deployed across the city to manage the traffic and ensure security, law and order.”
