The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pledged to ensure that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is held accountable for its alleged corruption if the NDC wins the 2024 December elections.
This promise was made by the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, while speaking at the NDC’s rally at Zurak Park in Madina on Thursday, December 5.
Ablakwa accused President Akufo-Addo of attempting to impose the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Ghanaians to escape accountability.
He emphasised that the upcoming election is about accountability and that the NDC will ensure that those responsible for corruption are held accountable.
This election is about accountability. Akufo-Addo is doing everything to impose his puppet and his poodle in Bawumia so that he’ll expose accountability. But he lies bad. Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) is coming for them, they’ll pay for the state capture, they will pay for the dissipation of our resources, they will pay for the corruption. We will pull out our monies from under their beds, the Cecilia Dapaah’s syndrome is coming to an end.”
