The Ghana police service has urged the public to disregard any kidnapping claim of Nana Eric Agyemang Prempeh circulating on social media.
In a statement,the Police explained that Hon. Agyemang Prempeh who is the Director-General of the National Disaster Management Organization(NADMO) and the parliamentary candidate of Ahafo Ano North Constituency in the Central region is in contact with the Police, receiving all needed security support.
“We wish to categorically state that the claim is false and the police have been in contact with him and providing him with all the security support” they stated.
The Ghana Police Service there called on the public to disregard the false information and pay no attention.
“We therefore, urge the public to disregard the false claim of kidnap and treat it with the contempt it deserves”. They said
