Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emphasised the significance of the 2024 elections, urging all Ghanaians to participate and exercise their right to vote.
Speaking to GHOne News after casting her vote, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stressed the importance of voting, saying “this is a very important election for us, the outcome depends on all of us.”
She encouraged citizens to participate in the electoral process, despite any challenges they may face, and urged them to vote for the NDC.
Acknowledging the frustrations some voters may have with long queues, she encouraged patience and participation. “I think people don’t like the fact that they should come into a queue and wait for an hour. I know a lot of people, but we have had to find a way out. So I urge everybody to vote. I know they come in small batches, but still they come,” she added.
