The head of security for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in La Dade Kotopon, Nii John Coleman, has made serious allegations against the New Patriotic Party (NPP), claiming that they are involved in stuffing and thumb-printing ballot papers at Susana Lodge in Cantonments.
Speaking to GHOne News, Mr. Coleman expressed frustration with the La Divisional Police, who were called to the scene.
According to him, the police spoke with the individuals involved but took no further action.
Mr. Coleman also revealed that his security team was not allowed to enter the premises with the police. The allegations have raised tensions in the area, with the NDC demanding further investigation into the claims.
“We have some reliable information that the NPP are having ballot boxes at the top there and thumb printing them, our informant gave us the information and we are here to verify it. They came in from La Divisional police, they spoke to them whatever happened there, they walk away they didn’t mind us , we are asking them the outcome of the discussion they did not say anything to us.
