At least one person has reportedly sustained an injury during the collation of results in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency.
It is not known how he sustained the injury or who was responsible at this time.
The individual has been taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Security personnel together with Electoral Commission officials have left the collation centre at St. Martins Senior High School as results have yet to be certified by the commission.
The incumbent Member of Parliament for the area is Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Chief Whip of the New Patriotic Party Caucus in the House.
Elsewhere in the region, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has fended off challenge from the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Alfred Osei-Poku according to provisional results.
Mr. Oppong Nkrumah has been Minister of Works and Housing following a ministerial reshuffle by President Akufo-Addo in February this year.
