The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has claimed victory in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, ahead of the official declaration by the Electoral Commission.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC’s National Communication Officer, the party’s internal collation of results indicates a resounding win.
In a press briefing, Gyamfi, confidently stated that the party has secured a decisive win in both the presidential and parliamentary races.
He that the provisional results show Ghanaians have rejected eight years of corruption, state capture, nepotism, economic mismanagement, and incompetence.
The people, Gyamfi stated, have voted overwhelmingly for change, giving the NDC a landslide victory.
He explained, “As a responsible party, we have nearly completed our internal collation, and the provisional results we have so far provide a clear indication of how the people of Ghana voted yesterday. I am pleased to inform the people of Ghana that, based on these internal results, it is evident that Ghanaians have rejected 8 years of corruption, state capture, nepotism, cronyism, economic mismanagement, incompetence, and a lack of empathy. It is clear that the people of this country have overwhelmingly voted for change. They have given the NDC an emphatic, resounding, and landslide victory.”
