Voters across the country have begun queuing at their various polling stations ahead of a pivotal election expected to begin in the next hour.
According to the Electoral Commission (EC), voters are expected to converge at over 40,000 polling stations to cast their ballots in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
The polls are scheduled to open at 7am.
