The mob chased him out of the centre, but fortunately, the Presbyterian Mission House, located within the Presbyterian Church premises, provided a safe refuge for the officer.
In the chaos, the officer’s backpack containing the crucial pink sheet was snatched, but a timely intervention by a police officer ensured the document’s recovery.
