Founder and General Overseer of the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) has challenged Ghanaians to put their shoulders to the wheel to build prosperity in the country.
Ushering congregants into the New Year; he underscored the need for hard work, honesty and sincerity as the bedrock to turn around the fortunes of the country.
“Let us be honest in everything we do. God blesses hard work. Additionally, we need to be honest and sincere,” he strongly advised.
New Government
Acknowledging the arduous work ahead of the president elect John Dramani Mahama, the respected clergyman called on Ghanaians to rally together to support the government build the country envisioned by its forebears.
We Ghanaians should help the new government by offering our best in honesty, diligence and sense of integrity. It is in this that we will build the Ghana we all want to see.”
Rev. Ransford Obeng singled out corruption and dishonesty as the most debilitating bane that has robbed the nation of its progress and development.
He was concerned corruption has permeated every facet of society and crept into the clergy ordinarily deemed to be the moral rods of society.
“We must shun corruption and uphold integrity. I say this to pastors as well.”
“Pastors shouldn’t dupe people in the name of the Lord. Our politicians should also do the right thing.”
“When relatives send you money from abroad to do projects for them, make sure you are honest with whatever you do with the money. When we do that and we work hard, God will bless us and we will see prosperity in Ghana,” he admonished.
Elec 2024 Prophecies
Rev Ransford Obeng strongly encouraged the clergy to learn lessons from the craze for elections prophesies that left several respected men of God utterly embarrassed after their words turned out false in the aftermath of the December 7, 2024 polls.
“Some people enter into places they are not supposed to enter. If you are a pastor, your duty is to teach people how they get closer to God, period!”
“I’ve been a pastor for 45 years and I don’t prophesy on elections. Whoever wins, I pray for them. I am for everybody because I want the good of Ghana,” he averred.
