President John Mahama has requested an immediate investigation into the deaths of some eight Ghanaians during the 2020 and 2024 general elections.
In the letter signed by the Secretary to the President, Callistus Mahama and addressed to the Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare indicated that the government is commitment to ensuring justice for the victims and their families.
“To maintain public trust and ensure transparency, we kindly request periodic update on the progress of the investigation.
This will help to keep stakeholders informed and assure the public of your commitment to uncovering the truth”, Callistus Mahama stated.
