Prudential Bank has donated a cheque of GH¢83,200.00 to the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) for the procurement and installation of eight modern overhead projectors for their lecture theatres. The donation, made at the institution’s campus in Kumasi, was a response to a call for assistance by the University to secure the items to facilitate effective teaching and learning at the University.

Presenting the cheque to the University, the Bank’s Area Manager for the Northern Sector, Mr. Jalaludeen Emran Adam said the Bank made the donation to promote the modernization of the lecture halls and shares the University’s commitment to promote academic excellence and technological advancement.

“We are delighted to make this donation to you. A key pillar in our Corporate Social Responsibility drive is to promote quality education in Ghana in fulfilment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically SBG 4. We believe the procurement and installation of these equipment will go a long way to facilitate effective teaching and learning on campus,” he said.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the University, the Registrar, Ebenezer Kofi Boakye indicated that the benevolence of the Bank will significantly improve the quality of teaching and learning in the University. “We are most grateful for this show of support from your Bank. It has always been part of our plans to equip our lecture theatres with such state-of-the-art equipment. To we are realizing this dream with this donation. This will really equip our lecture theatres and immensely facilitate academic work on our campus,” he said.
