President John Mahama has sworn into office Daniel Domelovo  as new Auditor-General.

The ceremony took place at the Flagstaff House Friday, December 30.

Earlier reports suggested that Mr. Domelovo had ditched the appointment over fears the incoming NPP administration will reverse it.

President Mahama has come under deluge of criticisms over his last-gasp appointments and executive decisions.

Some members of the NPP have claimed the appointments such as the confirmation of the CHRAJ, NCCE bosses are intended to entangle the incoming Akufo-Addo led government.

Aside the key appointments, the president has also increased National Service allowances and public sector wages.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mahama has also commissioned the new Ghana Academy of arts and science  edifice  in Accra.
