The Zimbabwe Football Federation will be fined $2000 by CAF for submitting their final 23 man squad for the 2017 AFCON finals 24 hours after the official date.
Head coach, Callisto Pasuwa finally released the final Warriors 23 man squad on Thursday.
All the players part of the AFCON qualification campaign have been retained in typical spirit of rewarding their services.
The Warriors played to a goalless draw with Cote D’Ivoire on boxing, a fixture where home based players featured prominently on either sides.
The team departs this weekend for the tournament that kick’s off on 14th January 2017.
Zimbabwe is in Group B with Algeria,Tunisia and Senegal.
