Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Gilbert Fiamenyo will link up with the rest of the Leopards squad next week in Kenya, CEO Ronald Namai revealed.

The former Djurgadens IF striker was signed by Leopards in August 2016 a month after the KPL mid-season window had been closed. He was thus not registered and sat out as Leopards struggled to avoid relegation in the second leg.

“He will now link up with the team for pre-season as. Fiamenyo is our player; he will jet in for pre-season next week. He signed a contract with us in August and it was unfortunate that he wasn’t cleared to play in 2016 but he will be available this season”, Namai disclosed

The 2011 All Africa Games gold medalist has previously featured for Swedish club Djurgadens IF home to Kenyan international Michael Olunga. He has also featured for Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs in Ghana among other clubs.
