The acting editor of the Daily Telegraph, Bismark Bebli has died after being hit by a commercial vehicle in front of the Kasoa Police Station in the Central region.
According to an eye witness, Bebli and a police officer were ran into by the vehicle with the registration number GE 8252—12 after it had failed its brake. The vehicle was moving from Kasoa towards Awutu Breku.
He was rushed to Justab hospital in Kasoa but died whilst receiving treatment. The police officer according to reports suffered minor injuries.
He is receiving treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.
Bebli’s remains has since been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital morgue.
