President Nana Akufo-Addo on Monday inspected and supervised the change of Guard at a short ceremony at the forecourt of the Golden Jubilee House to usher in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration led by him.
The event was witnessed by vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Akufo-Addo on Saturday took the oath of office following his resounding electoral success in last month’s presidential polls—defeating former president John Mahama who contested on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Delivering his inaugural address, Akufo-Addo pledged to protect the public purse warning that corrupt practices will not be countenanced by his administration.
