A trailer heading towards Pokuase direction on the Accra – Nsawam Highway has veered off the main road unto the outer lane.
The fully loaded truck hit the back of a mini passenger bus which has fallen on its side. Unspecified number of people are feared injured as the police is yet to get to the scene.
Pictures of the motor crash show the truck hanging on the railings which were rammed into close to Mile 7 on Thursday.
The Mile 7 police station has confirmed the accident but said its men are now heading to the accident scene for details.
Eyewitnesses say the accident has resulted in a heavy gridlock.
