Regional Ministers-designate will from Tuesday February, 14, face the appointments committee of Parliament.
The first four nominees scheduled to appear before the committee includes, Dr. Kweku Afriyie – Western region, Simon Osei Mensah – Ashanti region, Eric Kwakye Darfour – Eastern region, and Ishmael Ashitey – Greater Accra region.
Others expected to appear on Wednesday February 15, are Dr. Archibald Lesta – Volta Region, Alhassan Suleiman – Upper West Region, and Rockson Bukari – Upper East Region, followed by Kwaku Asoma Cheremeh – Brong Ahafo, Kwamena Duncan – Central, and Salifu Sa-eed – Northern Region, all on Thursday February 16.
The appearance of the regional ministers comes after the vetting and approval of 36 ministers of states, who have since been sworn into office by President Akufo-Addo.
