Assembly members in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) will today determine the faith of Osei Asibbey who was nominated by President Akufo-Addo for the post of Chief Executive of Kumasi.
Mr. Osei Assibey was the former Ashanti regional deputy minister under the erstwhile Kufuor administration.
The assembly members are expected to vote to endorse his nomination in the election which will be held at the Metropolitan Assembly.
135 assembly members are expected to take part in today’s election.
Godwin Okumah Nyame, spokesperson for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) said today process is expected to be smooth.
