The auditorium of the Law Faculty at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi was charged with ecstasy when celebrated speakers of the  2017 ‘Starr Woman Project’ took the microphone to speak to hundreds of students from various tertiary institutions and workers.

The much anticipated programme which took place on Friday March 31, 2017 saw the various speakers delved into various topics of entrepreneurship.

The “Starr Woman Project” is an extension of ‘The Zone’ which seeks to equip young women entrepreneurs with the relevant knowledge, skill and motivation to achieve their fullest potential as entrepreneurs.

The patrons were taking through time management, breaking barriers, personal grooming etc.

The event offered the students and workers the opportunity to ask the women leaders who have excelled in their various fields pertinent questions relating to entrepreneurship and social life.

A co-host of Starr drive, Anita Erskine, who is the face of the 2017 edition of the Starr Woman Project led the team to Kumasi.

The 2017 edition of the Starr Woman project was sponsored by Access Bank’s W Initiative (Inspiring, Connecting, and Empowering) and Marie Stopes Ghana.

The Speakers include: African Broadcaster Anita Erskine, Actress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Ms Nancy popularly called Stlye Coach and Chief Executive Officer of ACE Consult Ltd Marilyn Owusu.

Host of Ultimate FM’s Brunch and Lunch Naa Klodey Odonkor hosted the programme.
