Daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Anne on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House as part of her two-day visit to Ghana.

Princess Anne who was accompanied by the outgoing British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, discussed a number of issues bordering on the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two nations and enhancing access to education for children with Ghana’s president.

The Princess was also at the Christianburg War Cemetery to lay a wreath, she will also host a live interactive session with some school children who are beneficiaries of the Varkey Foundation’s Making Ghanaian Girls Great initiative, Ghana’s first interactive distance learning project.

The Princes is a sponsor of the initiative.
