Unposted Nurses leaving the premises of MoH

Aggrieved nurses comprising general nurses, midwives and psychiatric nurses have boycotted their protest after spending two nights at the Ministry of Health to demand their posting.

The unposted nurses have given government a two-week ultimatum to resolve their clearance or face a series of protests.

President of the coalition of bonded diploma nurses, Aguri James told Starr News’ Daniel Nii Lartey that they will march to the presidency if the Ministry of Health fails them.

“We are giving the Ministry up to May 5, if  we don’t get the clearance it means the Ministry is not competent enough to solve our problem so we will move to our father at the Flagstaff House and tell him what we are going through because he has the final say in everything,” James said.

The over 900 nurses had been jobless since completing their National Service in August last year.
