The Black Starlets of Ghana commenced their preparations for the Total U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Gabon 2017 on a 2-2 draw note with Tanzania on Monday at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Ghana scored their first goal in the 21st minute through Ibrahim Sulley in the first half with the Ghanaian youngsters wasting glorious opportunities to end the first department 1-0.

Immediately after recess the Black Stars couldn’t cope with the high temperature at the National Stadium resulting to four key players collapsing during play.

This forced  Coach Paa Kwesi to make unprepared substitutions to his starting line-up.

With just 17mins to end proceedings the Ghana squad made it two from an Arko Mensah Strike.

In the dying embers of the game, Serengeti Boys pulled one back through Assad Juma with an excellent spot kick equalizer by Mushin Malima to end the friendly on a 2-2 note.

The match forms part of preparations for the two teams ahead of the 2017 African Junior Championships in Gabon from May 14- May 21.

Ghana is in Group A alongside hosts Gabon, Cameroon and Guinea.

Tanzania is in Group B along with Mali, Niger and Angola.
