President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will today, Friday 26 May, leave Ghana for Liberia as part of his West African tour.

As part of his visit, Mr. Akufo-Addo will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Liberian President Ellen Johnson- Sirleaf.

President Akufo-Addo will also meet the Ghanaian community in Liberia. The President will travel to Mali from Liberia before he returns to Accra on Sunday.

The President’s trip comes after he visited Togo, Cape Verde, Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, and Cote d’Ivoire.

Mr. Akufo-Addo’s West African tour is deepen Ghana’s bilateral relations with the countries as well as show his commitment toward ECOWAS.
