On Saturday May 27, 2017 all roads will lead to Kumasi for the second edition of the biggest peer mentoring and networking event, the ASK Series. The ASK is an acronym for “ACTIVELY SEEK KNOWLEDGE”.

The idea of the ASK Series is to bring young professionals together to share knowledge, build networks and support a cause leading to a renaissance.

According to the Convener, Anani Yao Kuwornu, speakers and facilitators are drawn from within a network which represents young people who have substantial experience in the subject of discussion.

“It is a continuous professional development programme which targets developing soft skills and value system among young professionals”.

Topics for the quarterly sessions cut across public sector management, private sector development, leadership, entrepreneurship and others.

The maiden edition of the ASK Series was held in Accra on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence whiles the Kumasi edition will be at HapaSpace in the Dovewell Village behind the Intercity STC Yard, Adum, 3pm prompt.

The Accra edition saw speakers including the YALI Regional Co-ordinator, USAID West Africa, Pape Momar Sow, Acting Director of Public Affairs at Parliament of Ghana, Ms. Kate Addo, Chief Executive Officer of Cal Brokers David Tetteh, and Executive Director of Leaders and Mentors, Moses Coffie.

Meanwhile the Kumasi version will witness speakers including the Regional Administrator of the Judicial Service, Noel Francis Agodzo, Head of Cluster Business at Access Bank Ghana PLC, Ms. Raheemat Boakye and Lawyer Selasi Fume.

Hundreds of young professionals in the Kumasi metropolis and beyond are expected to join the event which is free of charge.
