Many small and medium scale enterprises are yet to take advantage of the advancement in technology to offer their clients the best services.

This leads to customers choosing established brands over the startups, hindering their growth in the process.

Hubtel said it is seeking to address the challenge in the coming days. The company which used to be SMS GH, is developing techniques and tools to enable businesses build lasting relationships with their clients.

Speaking to Starr Business on the sidelines of an event to officially rebrand the company, CEO of HUBTEL Alex Bram said businesses, especially SMEs stand to benefit a lot from its platform.

“For a small business to be able to deliver even a simple alert system, it could cost so much money. But if we have a system that is available and we were able to lower the fee, we will be able to get as many of this businesses getting on,” Bram said.

He added Hubtel has developed a package for small businesses to easily interact with the clients at an affordable fee of GHC 50, “ if you go outside into developed countries, small business have powerful tool that even banks in Ghana do not provide”.
