Machomen are allegedly being used to sack students owing fees at Kaaf University College near Kasoa Budumburum  in the Central region.

The heavily built men are reportedly following the accountant of the school as he visits one lecture hall to the other mentioning names of indebted students.

The machomen, according to some students who spoke to StarrFMonline.com, are instructed to bundle out any student who refuses to move out the classroom  after their names are mentioned.

“The school authorities together with the machomen stood at the gate with a list and if they check through the list and you are owing, then the machomen will beckon you to go back home and if you try to resist they force you out of the school compound. Most of the students from first year to final year have been sent home for owing as little as GHC50,” the worried student bemoaned.

The students added that  despite a 5% penalty placed on those owing,  school  authorities went ahead to sack them as the penalty keeps piling up on their fees which is not fair to them.

Meanwhile, an administrator of the school who identified himself as Sammy,  told StarrFMonline.com the heavily built men are security officials of the schools.

He said the school decided to resort to the action because the owing students have refused to heed to warning not to report to  the examination hall today.

“Those guys are not machomen, they are our own security officers. We are using them because the students refused to a earlier warning that they should come to the exams hall if you owe fees,” he said.
