uniBank has donated a Toyota Hilux pickup vehicle, roofing sheets and GHC100,000 to the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).

The third largest bank in Ghana, says the move is part of efforts to support the operations of the disaster management body during the rainy season.

Ghana over the years has had to fight flooding anytime there is a heavy downpour.

NADMO for the past five years has had no brand new vehicle added to its fleet, the acting Director General of NADMO, Eric Nana Agyeman-Prempeh made known at a ceremony to handover the items.

Mr. Agyeman-Prempeh added that, the move will go a long way to support NADMO’s transportation networks.

uniBnak as part of its donation gave GHC 100,000 to support NADMO in its fight against the recent army worm infestation affecting  agriculture in some parts of the country.

The bank also supported NADMO with some roofing sheets to help Opoku Ware, Prempeh and some Schools in Bawku who had their roofs ripped off by the rainstorm.
