Ghanaian International Kwadwo Asamoah has disclosed that he will soon return to the senior national team.
The Juventus midfielder who recently lost the UEFA Champions League title to Real Madrid has not played for Ghana since 2014 due to niggling knee injuries.
Asamoah made his Ghana debut back in 2008 and has gone on to play 69 games for Ghana.
“I will join the team [Black Stars] very soon, I left the Black Stars due to injuries and I needed time to recuperate and get much better.
“Ghana has talent in abundance and in my absence there were more than enough replacements but am happy with my current form and will be joining the team soon.”
The Udinese midfielder’s comeback will help Kwasi Appiah in his rebuilding exercise.
According to Asamoah, this is the right time to make a return to the Black Stars.
