An Accra District Court has remanded the two alleged killers of the Abuakwa North MP JB Danquah-Adu into police custody after they were discharged by an Accra High Court on May 30, 2017.
The prosecutor, DSP George Amega, told the court the police have fresh evidence against the suspects hence their re-arrest and return to court.
The two, Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu, who stand accused of killing the Abuakwa North MP at his residence at Shiashie on February 9, 2016 have been charged with abetment of crime and murder.
They have pleaded not guilty.
