The Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu constituency Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has described the recent Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) contaminated fuel saga as a one of the most shameful aspects of governance in Ghana.
“It’s made us an object of derision in the honors of the international community,” he added, describing the BOST deal as “unprecedented thievery.”
Speaking on Accra-based Radio Gold, Mr. Fuseini said “what has happened, is one of the most shameful aspects of governance in our country in the last two weeks.”
“What happened at BOST is a very simple issue of unprecedented thievery, the looting of state resources, the violations of our laws and the treating of Ghanaians with contempt,” he noted.
The Bureau of National Investigation (BNI), according to the Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko exonerated the MD of BOST Alfred Obeng Boateng of any wrongdoing in the sale of contaminated oil to Movenpiina and Zup oil.
Meanwhile, an eight-member body constituted by the Energy Ministry is investigating the deal.
