A driver of the  Bus Rapid Transit system, operators of the Ayaalolo service, was handcuffed by an official of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) after the two engaged in verbal exchanges over a lane.

The BRT driver, according to reports, had asked the EOCO official to move his car, which was parked on the designated lane of the buses, sparking the row at the Roxy Cinema in Adabraka.

The EOCO official who was provoked by the action of the driver took his handcuff from his vehicle and handcuffed the driver in the heat of the exchanges.

The public relations officer of the BRT service Fred Tsidi who confirmed the incident to Starr News said his outfit has written an offical statement to EOCO over the incident but are yet to receive a response.
