The Chief Executive Officer of the World Trade Centre, Accra Emmanuel Doni Kwame, has stated that for Ghana to industrialise fully it will depend to a large extent on the availability of reliable rail networks and power.
He has therefore called on government to ensure that appropriate infrastructure are put in place to propel the country’s industrialisation drive.
Speaking to Starr Business in a recent interview, he said “those are the things we need to fix” to industrialise.
President Akufo-Addo last month disclosed the government wants to facilitate the private sector entrepreneurs to lead the country’s industrialisation drive.
The AfriExim Bank has pledged to support the government’s vision of a value-addition and industrialised Ghanaian economy.
