Asante Kotoko midfielder Ollenu Ashittey has been discharged by Doctors of Komfo Anokye Hospital (KATH).
Medics at the hospital saw the need to keep the former Hearts of Oak player at the health facility to closely observe his condition after the team bus of porcupine warriors was involved in a fatal accident last Wednesday.
Ashittey was the only player admitted at the hospital alongside Coach Steve Polack and the team driver Nana Berkyi.
The Kumasi based club also confirmed on their official website that the Coach managed to take his first steps days after his knee surgery and is expected to be discharged by the end of the week.
